There is a big Halloween Blog Party going on Saturday over at A Fanciful Twist. And while I am not participating this year, I am really looking forward to browsing all the fabulous parties. I thought this would be a good time to share with you some art cards I made for Halloween. I hang them from wire swags or set them up in easels for the few weeks before Halloween. Each one is made from lots of different images all put together to make the finished piece. I like the old fashioned (hah!) method of cut and paste rather than doing it all digitally. The last one is my favorite. Every single component came from a different image. Don't forget to go over and see all the wonderful parties at Vanessa blog tomorrow!!!

These are great, Karen! I love them all, but I think the ones with a touch of harlequin pattern are my favorite.
Karen, these are all so cute I can't decide which one I like best!! you are so creative!!
Btw, I'm having a giveaway if you'd like to come by!
Sherri:)
The last one is my favorite too.....they are all terrific but that one just really intriqued me.
those are great! I am with you..I like the old fashioned way myself!
Your art cards are wonderful. It's hard to pick a favorite but I love the last one with all the little frames. Have a nice weekend! Twyla
Love them all! I'm a hands-on person, so I do love to cut and paste, to feel a magazine or book in my hand rather than viewing it online, to enjoy the process of creating from bits and pieces of odds and ends. Have a great day! :) Tammy
Hi Karen!
My fav is also the last one. I hate spideys, even the cute ones. You are very talented. the pumpkins turned out so nice...love the color palette! I am glad the puter problems are over. I imagine you were going a little crazy. All is normal now,,have a nice weekend.
Love
Marcie
Blessings dear Karen and have fun today!
BOO!!!
Lovely haunting creations you have brewed up.
Warm weekend blessings ;-)
Your cards are beautiful Karen!
I don't like doing them digitally either. I think they have more depth doing them the old fashioned way.
Hello my friend.. Long time - no talk!! Thought I'd pop in- as I am out spreading the word on my new marketplace!! It's taking the place of my older marketplace- with many many more fantastic features!! I'm spreading the word now- only to my fellow friends and artists- as I have not launched it's grande' opening to the public!!! Why? Because I am adding all of our artists pages and products as we speak- but want to make sure I get as many artists and goodies added before I announce to the world!! As soon as I'm about ready to launch- I'll be letting all the artists know- so they can preview listings etc, and their pages- and then I will be sending out a million newsletters and passing the word!! Its very exciting and am pleased with all the wonderfully talented artists that are joining!!
Sooo- if you want to take a peek- and remember- links are being activated daily- as pages are complete- I would love love to have you join us!! Be sure to take a look at the "About" page for more information- and of course take a peek at some of the active artists pages so you can see how things are working!!
Visit us- www.JustForKeeps.net.... We would love to have you!!
Many Blessings
Niki

Oh so cute cute cute! Yes, I missed you at the party today. You should still come and see Alice and Dead Bob...
Karen,
I also love the last one best. I just really look forward to see what you come up with. You are so darn creative! Lisa
These cards are just beautiful. What an inspiration. Love the images you used. What little treasures. Nan
Just a quick comment on your kitchen redo, because I missed it...I love it! Love the apple green, and your chalk board is perfect. I love all the inspiration I'm getting from blogland. Love the Halloween cards, too!
God bless,
Mary
