Yesterday was the third Thursday of the month and you know what that means by now... Sweet Salvage!! The show was wonderful as always!
Today, I think I'll just let the photos tell most of the story.
These were some of the highlights for me....
I really should have brought this lamp home. I think it's fabulous!!!
I always love architectural salvage...
and brown transferware....
and old iron gates...
and fabulous bird cages!!!!
If you are local, I hope you get a chance to go this weekend!!!

Oh how I WISH I were a local!!!
Those vignettes have me drooling... the bird cages are awesome! I finally talked the owner of a local antique mall into letting me purchase a "display only" antique bird cage for my daughter's birthday. Looks like I wouldn't have any trouble buying one down there!
Alez tu piekna !
Oh my Gosh! So many beautiful things. That lamp is fantastic:)
Thanks for sharing!
It appears my luck has finally turned (I am reviving from a long icky "Black Cloud Visit" this past stretch)....So perhaps you can Imagine the joy of me finding your extraordinary blog only yesterday....then learning you are local (always nice to have a good creative flow of energy in your hometown!)....THEN learning about the Sweet Salvage sale THIS WEEKEND....I am over the moon!!!! Thank you for sharing your talent, your gorgeous artwork, your inspiration, and your SECRET STUFF HIDING PLACES!!! My heart is actually beating faster! Lol!
Oh Wow, I am weak in the knees. I wish I did live near you. Everything looks like something I wish I had. I have recently gotten a booth and am loving it. Thanks for sharing. Kathy

Lovely, Karen! Your photos are delicious and Sweet Salvage looks to be right up my alley! I must go back out there and find it.

Now that I have a friend from here living in Phoenix, I have 3 reasons to come down to one of these. Fingers crossed.

Karen-- I think I'd be saving all my "third Thursdays" for this beautiful place. I'm thinking all these amazing photos should be in a beautiful book!!
I don't even need to ask-- I'm sure you bought something fabulous!

I am thinking I really need to go to an awesome show right now. My last trip was the Fancy Flea. What is it about all that stuff that has such a hold on me? lol. At least I am in a great group of fun people who are drawn to it just like me!
Hugs

I am curious about the little clock faces in the first photos. They look like they might be ceramic.
I love the bit of decorative railing. Wouldn't it be fun to have a piece like that in the garde?
Wowww Karen, such a beautiful stuff.
Sorry, it's tot far to come over from the Netherlands ;-)
Hugs and have a nice day,
Ellen
Hey Karen, I'm back commenting because each vignette is more beautiful than the next.
The bird cage reminded me of the one my hand latched onto at a town-wide flea market. Only $10.00! I kept wanting to put it down but my hand was firmly gripped on the handle. After a little heart-to-heart, I convinced it that with all the purging going on at my home, do we really want to own this??? Glumly, my hand released it and I walked away. Darn this downsizing!!!!
