A Little French country in my space at Rusty Saturday

I got a little of my own interpretation of what French Country looks like to me over at my space at Rusty Saturday.

I love this old plate rack I found, and that Bakery sign is pretty sweet too!!

This is more of the great stuff I found on my trip to Pennsylvania this Spring.

I have 2 of these chairs. They are are the sweetest little farmhouse chairs and are definitely quite old.

I love all the shutters and those vintage molding picture frames are yummy! I also have a thing for white pitchers. (Can you tell?)

The vintage egg basket is really sweet too.

I love these old crates. They are so much nicer for storing things than a plastic one and they lok soooo much better too!

Isn't that such a sweet little rush seat stool? I got it from a lovely old man who said it belonged to his grandmother.

There are lots of wonderful goodies to be found. If you are in the Phoenix/Metro area... come by and say hi!!

Sweet Savage-Summer Lovin'

This last weekend was Sweet Salvage's Summer Lovin' Show. If you longed for lazy days by the beach, and wanted to fill your home with beachy treasures this was a good show to attend.

Little mementos of the beach were everywhere.

The colors were the soothing tones of beach side living. Greys, whites and lovely sea blues and greens.

In addition to all the wonderful beachy goodness, there was also enough of my favorite farmhouse style to keep this girl very happy.

I ask myself every time I am there... "Where do they find all this stuff??"

I loved this little wooden wagon!

And this shelf unit was pretty awesome too!

There were lots of cute outfits displayed all over the store too.

Summer is definitely in full swing here in Phoenix! The temps were right around 114 degrees last week but that didnt stop us from making our monthly pilgrimage to Sweet!!

It's party time again!!!!

To view the list of this years party guests... click here!

I can't believe I am kicking off year 7 of the Where Bloggers Create Party! I look forward to this event every year. You girls have some of the most inspiring and beautiful studios I've ever seen!! In the past years we've seen, beauty, ingenuity, amazing organization and  some really cool ideas! The studios have been enormous professional studios and little sweet corners of your homes. They are all fun to look at so I hope you will join in on the fun whether you've never participated or you've played along since 2009!

I tried something new last year and it really seemed to work well. It kept folks from signing up for the party and then forgetting to do their post, so we will do the Linky party again!

With a link party, everyone does their post first and then comes over here to link up. You do not need to contact me to let me know you are going to be participating. (although I would love to know that you will be) Just come on over on the 11th and add your blog post to the list.
If you are unsure of how to participate in a link party, click here for full instructions. (It's really easy)

So the rules are as follows... (It's a short list, I promise)
1. On or around July 11th do a new blog post that shows off your creative playground. Please do not fear that it is not good enough. There is always a wide variety of creative spaces to be found during the party and yours will be loved and appreciated by all of us.
2. On July 11th, come over here and link up your post. (again if you need help, the instructions can be found here)
3. Please do not link up if you are just trying to advertise something or if you are not sharing a place where you create beauty of some kind. I will remove any blog or website that does not comply with this. :)
4. If you plan to participate PLEASE grab the code under the button for the event and put it on your blog. (It's in the top right sidebar.)  If you would do a short blog post to let your readers know you will be participating that would be wonderful. The more bloggers that know about the event, the more participants we will have and the more inspiration you will have!
If you want to visit last years attendees, click here for last years party post and links to last years party goers.
Don't forget, it doesn’t matter if your space is big or small, it’s yours and that makes it special!!!
I hope to see lots and lots of you on the July 11th!!!
PS... (If anyone wants to get a pretty new look from Valentine Design for their blog before the event....there's still time! I am offering a 15% discount for anyone who is joining the party. Shoot me an email and I'll get you on the list!)
