My New Coffee Bar

I have wanted to set up a cute coffee area for quite some time now. Recently I was able to acquire this wonderful galvanized 3 tier stand and I knew it would be perfect for what I wanted to do.

I had a lot of fun finding things in the house that would give me the look I wanted as well as be functional for its purpose. I found this reproduction tobacco basket at Hobby Lobby (I have a love/hate relationship with them) but it was just the right backdrop for the vignette.

I love how it looks there now, and I have a place where I can put together my delicious drink every morning. :)

For the table, I always like to have fresh flowers. They make me happy and they cost less than $6 a week.  For spring I filled this vintage bowl with some ceramic eggs I found at the thrift store and used shredded music sheet paper for the nesting grass.

This is my view while I stand and do dishes. (Yes, I do them by hand every day!)
They days are warming up now so I usually have the door open and can hear the birds singing and feel the fresh air.

I think I'll go have some coffee now!!

I just adore your kitchen, it's so inviting and now that you have that coffee bar, I REALLY want to visit!

I created a coffee bar last November and I love having it in the nook where all the mail would pile up. Not any more!!!

Let's get together soon!

What a beautiful coffee bar, I wish I had that kind of space in my kitchen.

The 3-tier stand was a lovely find, but I really liked how you reused other things from around the house to get your coffee bar just as you wanted. The bowL with eggs is also lovely, as is the curlicues screen behind your sink.

Karen, this is a lovely, charming area. Full of coffee themed goodies. Love fresh flowers too. They are worth every cent we pay for them.

A very Inviting little niche you have Created and as always your Styling is impeccable. I too have that love/hate relationship with Hobby Lobby, especially when it's too difficult to find the Real Deal or too expensive to buy it when I do, too funny! Dawn... The Bohemian

Hello from your newest follower. You have such a beautiful home! My hot drink station is also on a galvanized 3-tier tray, except no coffee. I love me some hot herbal tea while the family likes their hot cocoa. It's fun to display but I love how convenient it is. Have a delightful rest of the week~

I see people doing the coffee bars in the house all the time. I think that is really neat. I for one am not a big coffee drinker so that is not really a problem for me. I like what you have done. Very pretty.
