(lunch is included)
at Rusty Saturday

In this class you will learn how to work with encaustic wax to create a beautiful one of kind

topper for the bottle,  (Like an old doorknob) already attached with  clear E-6000 glue. (available at most craft stores)
*I will have several bottles with vintage doorknobs already attached available for purchase before the class as well as vintage door escutcheons, rhinestone trim, and other random embellishments)
*I will supply the wax, assorted laces, trims, twine, wire, wood plaques,
small frames, flowers, images, sheet music , a variety of embellishments as well as
many of the tools you will use.

What you will need to bring:

*Vintage Bottle (flat on at least one side) with topper attached with E-6000
****Again, I will have some to purchase if needed.
*Any additional laces, trims, bling, charms or doodads that you would like to use.
*Basic tool kit (scissors, tweezers, glue brush, small paint brush, heat tool or hairdryer
*If you would like to use soldering on this bottle (totally optional), you will need a soldering iron
and a spool of lead free solder.
*If you would like to add color to your bottle, bring some Tim Holtz alcohol inks in the color of your choice, and choose your embellishments accordingly.

HI Karen, Meri's sister Jen here. So nice to see you and your spot at RS the other day. This vintage bottle class looks awesome. I'm not able to make it but I hope to catch another one of your classes.
