White Wednesday Party Preview

For this weeks White Wednesday I am presenting whites from my studio, in anticipation of Fridays Where Bloggers Create Party. I love Daisy's. They are one of my favorite flowers, and when I can, I love to have them brightening up my studio.

Mmmmm...white cheddar cheese popcorn. Snacky goodness for those late night munchies while I am working on a project.

Buttons, buttons, buttons!!! I love them. I love the way they look on a project, and how they feel when I shuffle through them in the jar.

I use these dominoes occasionally
in an art piece, but
mostly I just like to look at them!

What self respecting studio would be complete without glitter!!!

And of course, paint. I use all kinds, but
these little
squeeze bottles are so convenient.

I go through LOTS of paper towels!

And finally, sponges for blending
and applying chalks or inks.
They are really very useful.

I hope you enjoyed this little mini tour of
white studio goodies.
Head on over to Faded Charm
to see the rest of this weeks
White Wednesday wonders.

Hi Karen, you've created a beautiful garden in Arizona! I lived there, and have a lot family still there, so know how difficult that can be. I went to high school with a girl named Karen Valentine, but I don't think you're the same girl - that was in 1963! The pitcher filled with daisies is so pretty and cooling - just lovely!

That little pitcher is just divine! Thanks for sharing.

I have so many of my grandma's buttons. We used to play with them when I was little, and my Mom had a button box too. I spent hours . . .
I have to laugh, if I had placed a jar full of buttons in front of my boys when they were little, I'm not quite sure what they would've done. They might've surprised me - who knows. Buttons were just a part of life back in the 60s. I remember cutting them off shirts before we gave the shirts to the Goodwill. (cringe - yes we did that.)
Have a great day! Looking so forward to tomorrow.

Karen I wish I had thought of joining this sooner! My studio is a mess because I have not been in there in weeks due to vacation & my DH being home24/7 for this time in the summer. I hope you will do another one at sometime. I will post the button & advertise it. Also, I am adding you to my sidebar. I hope things slow down a bit so I can get back to my studio & creating as well as more time to visit my favorite blogs. Have a great party I will come & look & be there in spirit. I love all you shabby chic white in this post.

How nice to see the whites you use everyday. Caught by your camera, they look pretty!!

I just heard about White Wednesday and I will definitely participate. And although I will be gone on the 24th, I will backtrack to see all the great artist's participating in the upcoming event. I mentioned it to several ladies I know who "create". I'm not an artist myself but came over from My Hearts Ease. I'd like to come back when i have a little more time and have a peek at some of your home decor.

Have a wonderful weekend!! :-)

xoxo

Well, I must say...we are just alike in the "love of White" catagorie. I will check back on the party tomorrow. Wish I had more that one plug in in this room, its way to dark to show. But I think its a great idea.

I just now saw your comment over at French Cupboard. lol We were out of town last week and I'm playing catch up with email so I hadn't read the comments from yesterday yet. Thanks for taking care of the link for the party! And if you would prefer to not have the Flickr group, just let me know. I probably should have checked with you first. I added the link back to your blog just in case you want to tell others about the group, but if not that's ok too.

Hope you have a beautifully fun time of it tomorrow. Blessings.. polly
