While doing some long over due surfing of some of my favorite blogs, I came upon a post over at my good friend Jodie's bog Everything Vintage. She shared with us the coolest website for photo fun! It is aptly titled, Photofunia. And yes, I spent hours playing on it. It has everything from cool artistic effects to...
things a little more fun!!!! LOL!!! This one cracks me up!!!!
My favorites were the artistic effects and I made sketches from many of my favorite photos.
This is one of my most cherished pics of my son at 3 years old. I love the way it turned out. You can make them on a white background (like the one of me above) or on an aged background which they call "texture" (I don't know why)
This one took manipulating in photoshop. I took the 3 separate images from photofunia and combined them to make this collage. They have large format options that allow you print them out pretty large. I created this one to be 16X20 at 300 dpi. (print quality) I think I'm going to have it printed on water color paper at the print shop, frame it, and set it on my mantle. You should definitely go try it out. As Jodie said... "It's very addicting!!!"

Hi Karen,
What a fun tool! I'll go check it out. I've been meaning to ask you for a link...it was one you posted several months ago for a site of free images...it was one I had never seen before..now somehow I didn't save that link...I don't see a labels category on your blog so I can't find it.
Will you take a look and let me know what the link is? You were real excited about discovering it..seemed like it had tons of stuff a bit different from what we usually see.
Have a wonderful day,
Stephanie ♥

As i was checking back in with your blog, i realized i forgot to mention i love that quote on the right of blog- I truly live by so many of the quotes i read amongst these amazing inspiring blogs- (yours one of them) Follow your Bliss and doors will open-where you didnt know)..I keep thinking, Im doing what I love so so much, i get to share and do probably more than i should, i even share to where some customers dont buy from me, but leave wanting to try themselves, but i think it makes me more happy to know i inspired them to give something a try- But I hope & believe, that sharing because you love it, and following what i just love so much, will open doors for me to keep going.. Just a Thank You for a great quote & a good giggle once again with that pic of you and (your hubby?or model? or hmmm?) so so so funny.Just love it..
