Cooler temps bring thoughts of Fall!

Country Living
We've  been having some pretty awesome storms the past day or two and with them comes cooler temps. It's a lot easier to think about Autumn when its only 75-80 and not 95-100!!!
I've been going through all my old seasonal issues of my favorite magazines and pulling out some great Fall decorating ideas to share. I think you are going to love these!

Cottage Living
This is one of my favorites. If you aren't a spooky Halloween lover and you prefer the white pumpkins I bet this idea is right up your ally! They used upholstery tacks!!

Country Living
 Pretty centerpiece.

Ladies Home Journal
This is a nice alternative to carving a pumpkin.
Country Home
I loved this idea for the candles. It is sooo simple. I made my own version that I will show you in another post. I hope you are having a great week. BTW... I was inspired to break out the Halloween blog design a little early.. what do you think???

That is a great idea for decorating a pumpkin, I always have upholstery tacks in the house for one reason or other! Thanks for the fun idea...

Oh I love the candles and the candy corn together! So going to do this. I have lots of mason jars. Mine are blue though....Hmmm.... Love the upholstery tacks too.. Still building our house and suppose to move this month. But I just have to go ahead and get some fall decorations sitting out in old house. Driving me crazy not sewing or decorating any right now! Have a great day Karen!

I LOVE the Halloween blog design. It is perfection! I have a great little rusty mason jar caddy on my back porch. Thanks for reminding me! Much like you, we are just starting to cool off. I'm anxious to do a little cleaning and decorating out there. These are great ideas! I can't wait to get started. Thanks, Karen.

Love all of the great ideas! Thanks for sharing, it really helps get me in the "spirit" for Fall/Halloween. I live in the Phoenix area as well (shout out to Gilbert!) and find it very hard to get in the mood for Fall when it's still 105 degrees outside! You can bet I will be using some of your great ideas to decorate my home this weekend! P.S.- great to find a fellow blogger who lives so close....

Hi Karen,

Hasn't this weather been unreal? I haven't seen this type of weather in about 30 years out here. I love your new blog decor, of course you're a master at it. I'm thinkin' I'll have to pick your brain a litle when we take that class at the end of the month. I came across some of those big rounded nail head accents (Clavos)out at "the Dump" in CaveCreek, so you can do the pumpkins in the first picture. See you soon!

Hugs,
Meri

Thanks for sharing some fun ideas for holiday decor. My decor is being held wasp-age! Somehow a tiny crack around the window in my storage building let in a colony of swarming wasps. We have not been able to get them out and since I am highly allergic I am banned from the building. I may not be decorating for any holiday until it gets cold enough for them to quite moving around and they can be safely removed. I'll have to settle for beautiful blog decor ideas like yours, thanks for sharing.

Love these ideas, and especially with living in AZ your pumpkins last so much longer if you decorate them without doing traditional carving. These really have put me in the mood to get decorating.
