My first class!!!

I know it's a tad bit early to be thinking about Christmas... but then again... it's NEVER to early to think about Christmas!! I am so excited (and a little nervous) to announce my first ever official art class! I will be having it in my home on Saturday, December 4th. It will be an all day class and participants will go home with a completed Snowman/Girl at the end of the day. You will be able to customize your piece however you want because I will have lots of goodies to play with.
The fee for this class will be $80.00 and will include everything you need, although there are a few tools I would love for you to  bring along if you have them.
I am really hoping that many of the Arizona gals who have blogs or just enjoy reading them, will sign up so we can all meet and have a fun play day!!! I'm also hoping some of my Texas BBF's will be able to come and play too!!! (hint, hint)
If you are interested, please send me an email and I will tell you more about it.

I hope you can come and play!!!

Karen,

By the end of February I'll be sick of snow but I really like snowfolks. Yours are so cute I wish I could hop on a plane and drop in. Good luck with your first class! By the way snowmen or snowfolks are not just for the holidays. Here in PA we use them during Christmas and as winter decorations for January into February.

Those are ADORABLE!!
You'll be great.
Teaching is no more than sharing what we have learned, and encouraging others as they learn it.
Just be your cheerful, sweet self. Everyone will have a ball. =)

Hi Karen,

Wow, how cool, and congratulations....I wish you much, much, success in your endeavor. I wish I could come, but unfortunately the same situation prevents me as the one where I was going to take the class at Mystic Paper. I was so looking forward to meeting you in person. I really hope we can figure out a way to accomplish this. As I mentioned before, hopefully we can get a spring boutique together for all us crafty women here in Arizona. Take care, and have fun.....I know it will be a success because you are amazingly talented.

Hugs,
Meri

I was told it was never to early for Christmas when I made a post a day or so ago about a Santa that I made. I, too, wish that I lived closer so I could attend your class. I sounds like so much fun! I also wanted to tell you that I made some pumpkins following your tutorial...thanks for sharing. They where easy to make and I think mine turned out pretty good. You'll have to go check them out @ annaclotandme.blogspot.com

I just moved from Az. to Idaho! Dang! I would join you in a heart beat. It sounds like fun. BTW I made your pumpkins and I adore them. I used our dimensions for the first one which I thought was big enough, and made several smaller ones. They are really easy and beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your idea an pattern.
Good luck with your class.

Karen,
I am so excited for you! Your first class, yeah! I warn you, it's addicting. Charlene says she is addicted to taking the classes, well I'm addicted to teaching them. It is so rewarding to share everything you know with a group of like minded girls (or boys). And to see them with a complete project that was inspired by you....well it's amazing. Your a very nurturing person so you will be a natural. Wish I could come, unfortunately December with 3 kids is just crazy time. But my thoughts will be there, & probably a few of my friends! Lisa
