Fun in PA.

Hi everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Our trip to Pennsylvania was a lot of fun. It was good to see loved ones again.Thankfully, although most of the Fall splendor was over by the time we arrived there were  still a few trees hanging on to their beauty for a little while longer.

We kept ourselves busy while we were there. One of our favorite things to do on vacation is to visit any aquariums that might be around. I have a thing for them. I love them and will go any chance I get. I had fun trying to get good shots through the thick glass but I had some pretty good success.  Can anyone say... NEMO????

Beauty and danger all wrapped up together.

My hubby had to drag me away!!! I could have just hung out and watched these things for hours. (I know... weird right??)

Is he cool or what???  I was lucky enough to actually swim with one of these guys while snorkeling in Hawaii. It is one of my favorite experiences ever.

cute, cute, cute.

and speaking of cute.... It's Mr Bumble and my sweetie! He always makes me laugh. Just one of the MANY reasons I love him.  :)

On Thanksgiving morning we woke up to a wonderful surprise.  It was snowing! Now I know that many of you cannot understand my excitement at this, but to an Arizona girl this was really cool!!!

It snowed for a few hours and we hopped in the car. Every so often I would say Stop! I'd jump out of the car and snap away!!! I'm sure the locals thought I was crazy...

but for me, it is what will make this trip memorable.

I really liked these two shots. There are a perfect mix of Fall and Winter.

I hope you I didn't bore you to much!!! Tomorrow I will be doing a post about the beautiful package that arrived in the mail yesterday!!!
See you soon!

Yes, the snow does make everything look pretty, Karen. I'll tell you all about my "excitement" with snow as Winter arrives and I'm spinning round and round in my car. : )

Your aquarium shots came out great!

Well, first, glad you had a great vacation. Second, love the aquarium shots..good job. Third, as a former East Coast girl, and now a fellow Arizonan, I have to say, as beautiful as it is, I do not, repeat, do not miss snow! I will admit it is so pretty to look at.

Hi Karen,
It looks like much fun. I love that turtle! I am with you on aquariums, used to go to Monterey quite often when we lived closer and San Francisco too. Need to go again soon. It is just so calming, right?! We have a Sunrise Earth here on TiVo and when we put the undersea one on, Zeke snores and it's usually at the sea turtle part ;)

Glad it snowed for you. Oh, love the photo of Mr. Bumble and friend!

Karen,

What a fun trip! I love aquariums too, last one we visited was in the Smokey Mtns. of Tenn. pretty awesome. The jelly fish and seahorses are some of my favorites. How cool that we share the experience of swimming with turtles in Hawaii! I had one of those underwater cameras and snapped away. We also saw them sunning on a black sand beach there. I love the snow too, none here yet, the snow on the colorful trees is so pretty. Glad you had such a great time.

Welcome home, Karen! I'm so glad you got to see the snow while you were there! We've had snow already too. Which is rare.
The aquarium pictures are beautiful especially the Nemo one.
I love the picture with the snow on the trees too.
Blessings,
Sonya

Hi Karen,
So glad you enjoyed your trip and got to play in the snow. We are in the grip of Arctic weather in England so I would like a little bit of Arizone desert please.
Warm hugs, Angela.

Hi Karen,

As a fellow Arizonan, I know exactly how you feel. I feel truly blessed in this state as all I have to do is drive a couple of hours away and I can have all the snow I want. The diversity in Arizona is amazing....spoken by a true native!!!! I'm glad your Thanksgiving was lovely, as was mine (minus the crappy stuff). Here's to a great Christmas!

Hugs,
Meri

I lived in Arizona for 30 years and this past summer I moved to Idaho. We have had snow everyday for 2 weeks and I love every single snow flake. I love the change in the seasons.
I am so happy for you to get to enjoy some of natures handiwork. And you had a goo trip, as well.

How fun, Karen!!! I would have rolled in the snow if given the chance!
The pictures of the jelly fish unerved me!!! It reminded me of the ones that stung me in Hawaii this summer. Glad those were behind glass!!!

Welcome back to PA! I'm wondering where you were but judging from the snow it couldn't have been where we are because we just had a little bit of flurries.

Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Hi Sweetie
So glad you had a good time and how wonderful you got snow!
Isn't it funny you love the aquarium-water thing and you live in the desert? Maybe that's why you love it... anyway so glad you had safe travels and a good time.
Blessings
Rebecca

Aquariums are a fun place! Atlanta's aquarium is a must see if you ever venture over to this part of the world. I believe I read that it is the world's largest. Loved little Nemo! Really cute as well to see the child in you come to full attention when the snow arrived on your visit to PA! Xo, Sue

Gorgeous photos and I totally "get it." The first time I visited New York in the fall, I filled up a box of leaves and when she asked, I told the ticket agent at the airport there were fall leaves in the box, she gave me the most perplexed look. I came home and made beautiful fall wreaths for everyone!
