The Embellished House

Today I am continuing my tour of great Phoenix area shops.  I was so thrilled and surprised to find this amazing shop right in my neighborhood!!!  It's name is The Embellished House and it is right near Scottsdale Rd. and Shea Blvd.
Believe when I say, there is nothing like it anywhere around here!

It has something for everyone who loves Vintage, Industrial or French style.

There are so many fabulous vignettes in this shop, your eyes can't decide which to focus on first!

The shop is filled with yummy furniture and vintage finds from Europe and right here in the good ol' USA!

There are so many things I really would  love to have! Now mind you, this is definitely a high end shop. (It is Scottsdale after all) but it is soooo worth coming over for a visit!

You will most assuredly find something you cannot live without!

There is a great section for those who love that industrial look.

(Drool)

Fun and Funky jewelry to make a girls heart go pitter patter!

(Drool some more)

Okay somebody get me a towel!!!

The next day, Rebecca and I met for lunch and some shopping and I had to take her here! Lucky me, her sister lives in town so she comes for a visit once or twice a year! Yeah!!! We had such a nice time and I really look forward to her next trip to town!

Well, that concludes my little tour. I took about 50 photos and really found it difficult to edit down to these.  If you live in the valley, this shop is a must see, and Nancy and her staff are the nicest bunch of ladies you ever want to meet!!!

Casualties could have easily occurred here by the time "she" got to the first "drool" picture. Thankfully, my cat ears heard her heart beat go into a rapid gallop and so I got out of the way. By the second "drool" picture "she" was at Dad's computer trying to book the first flight out to your local. However, Dad and I were able to save his wallet and return the hallway into a walkway rather than a runway, when I announced, 'Karen says it's a high-end shop'. Whew, it was a close one though, I gotta tell you. I think I'm going to have to ask for roller skates or a skateboard for my birthday - self preservation you know....

Purrs!

I was just thinking of asking you about some fun & cool places to visit in AZ! I come to visit quite often. Glendale is the only place I've found some unique shops so far. Do tell if you have any others for me to add to my list!

I can't wait to go visit that shop. We are moving back to the Phx. area, sooner rather than later I hope. Can't wait to have all this and more at my fingertips once again. Also read your post about the gift of birds nests that you received. How wonderful & so sweet of your blogland friend. It amazes me every day just how connected I feel to these people whom I will most probably never meet. Have a great week.

Well that makes me what to take a trip to Phoenix. I wish I could find a shop like that around here. I would be more than happy to travel to see all of that. So maybe a weekend trip will be in my future. I have not been to Phoenix in years. We used to live there years ago and I hear I would not know the area now. But I would love to revisit the area. Thanks so much for sharing, and lucky you to have your visitor along for the ride:-)

What fun you two had! That shop is of course amazing! I hope to meet the both of you one day soon & hopefully do a little shopping together. Charlene is busy preparing for your big arrival, turning her home into the perfect B&B. You will flip over Round Top, don't believe any stories she tells you about our trip. I did not call Kevin 100 times for money. LOL I hope my kids get better so I can perhaps meet up with you.

I would have definitely enjoyed the tour if I were there. I have never been to such a shop and it certainly makes me envious of you. All the stuffs in these pictures are amazing. I would say that my favorite is the closet with a mirror door. It absolutely looks so classy. This will surely inspire cabinets NJ lovers out there. Thank you for sharing this wonderful post.

I'm looking at your roll-around food tray carts. Wow! I have 2 of these in my basement. My husband (deceased) bought them to hold tools and parts. Now that I am setting up a crafting area for myself, your photo has given me so much inspiration. WooHoo.

Fabulous shop!!! I would love to visit... I found you on Pinterest through a pin that took me to this post and as I was scrolling through the pics of this awesome shop, I noticed two aqua blue industrial style stools sitting on a table. I actually have one in my paint studio at my shop that is identical to them. Mine are also the exact same color as those two stools, which I painted. The prior fabric color was an awful putrid green hue, but the upholstery was mint and durable, so I painted it with paint that I sell in my studio and now it looks great. I wonder if these two were painted, also? Anyway, glad to have found you and great post!
