Sand and Sea in the Desert

Happy Thursday everyone! This morning I spent another wonderful hour shooting photos for this month's Sweet Salvage sale! What was this month's theme you might ask?????

Well, I bet you can guess!!! Summer was definitely in the air and  the Sand and the Sea were everywhere. (Yes, even here in the desert.)

Imagine what your home would like if you were a vintage loving mermaid... And you can imagine the yummy vision that these girls created.

There were fabulous European baskets every where, all filled with beautiful pillows and goodies.

Containers of all sorts were filled shells and trinkets. And are several awesome mannequins if that is what your heart desires.

How needs the beach when you've got Sweet Salvage?? LOL.

I just loved the color theme... Water and Sand... hmmmmmm....nice.

My very favorite mannequin. Alas, she was not to be mine.

I am blown away by the awesome furniture pieces they have. Now if only I had more than one home I could decorate!!!

 I loved this vignette.

And I REALLY wanted this pretty slipcovered chair. The price was really reasonable too!! I just don't have another place for a piece of furniture unless I start getting rid of pieces that I own already!

They always have great architectural salvage there.

Lots of lovely vignettes under glass.

And I just loved this rope and pulley plant hanger!!

I promise I will show you what I bought when I get it all fixed up in my house!!!!  But for now I've got to run!!! Getting ready for Bunco here at my house tonight!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I saw so many things I want!!!! Like you... I need to add on another wing. :) Just got new bedroom furniture & it's really crowded in there now. I would have bought that pretty footed silver tray & the manni you didn't get... I bought one like her at Round Top this year. Larry doesn't understand the fascination with them... Have a great weekend. HUGS!

Hi Karen, The rope plant hanger was neat looking. You don't see that around in our area. I just wish I lived closer to some of the places that you all talk about. I know there is pieces in your pictures that bring back a lot of memories. The iron bed frame. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

Hi Karen, I got disrupted the first time I looked at this post but had to come back to look at all the yumminess. If there was only one shop here, similar to this one, I'd be in heaven. I see so many things I drool over and I'm looking forward to seeing what you bought.
Happy Sunday :-)!
