There were several of my buddies, who couldn't make that class, so thankfully I had enough supplies left over to make a few more kits, and we had a little mini class here at my home.
I had 5 girls total and had the best time. I made lunch and we spent the whole day chatting and playing!
I don't know how Gini managed to hide her face from both photos but she did!!! And there are the rest of my buds...
Sandie, Denise and Cherie and Lynne (down below)
Now you aren't going to believe how short this post is. Know why???? I was too wrapped up in the fun to make more pics!!! Arghhh!!!!!! I really wanted to show you all the wonderful versions of the book that the girls made, but the day flew by, and I never got the chance! (I really have to get better about that!!)
Oh well, this is my book anyway... I hope to show you pics of the latest book I've been working on very soon!!

How totally lovely your book is! It looks like you all had a lot of fun and fellowship. I know the feeling about forgetting to take pictures. I have got to get better about that myself. Have a wonderful weekend!
How in the world did I miss an opportunity to take this class with you? I love, absolutely, love to make books. Please add me to your list of super supporters who would take a class like this with you in the Valley. Also, I'd live to be on whatever distribution list for the entire workshop where you taught.
What a beautiful book! The class sounds like it went great. I get the part about the photos...I have been really trying to think blog almost everywhere I go, but still I often forget my camera. Thanks for sharing! Sue

That journal is just gorgeous! I would have loved to take that class. I used to teach scrapbooking classes--such fun times!
What a sweet lacey book Karen that you taught your friends. Love the front cover with the framed image. That will inspire them to make more.
Look forward to seeing the inside too.
Have a lovely weekend,
Suzy

Such a wonderful class Karen -- your book is gorgeous and everyone looks like they are just having such a good time. You are so gracious to share your talents and your home with friends when you teach your classes. I cant think of a more wonderful way to spend the afternoon~
