It's always a wonderful thing when I make some time to play in the studio! I've been wanting to create some textile based necklaces for a while now.
I just love it when the vision in my head and what comes out in the end are both the same!!
I made several different ones, all to go with some of my favorite tops.
These top two are my favorites!!
Although to be honest, I do love them all.
I know many of you may think they are too matchy-matchy for your tastes, but I am a tone on tone kind of girl! :)
I really like the addition of the inspirational type words on them. We all need those little reminders every now and then. :)
I am having so much making these, I cant seem to stop! Every free moment I have is spent in the studio making more!
I posted these on Facebook last week and got such a wonderful response from everyone!
I was asked by several of the ladies for a tutorial and since it's been quite some time since I made a new one, I decided it was time!!

You talents are never ending! Love them all! Blessings
I'm a bit of a lurker with a lot of blogs but I just wanted to comment on how beautiful your necklaces are Karen! I've wanted to make this style of necklace/pendant for a while now but always have such a time trying to work out placement for everything(I make collages from time to time). I over think things I think! :) I'm thinking that I just might have to buy your tutorial!
If those are your clothes then you're a very well dressed lady! I love them. :) x
Your necklaces are so beautiful! Jo
Your necklaces are rather unique. You remind me of a friend of mine that discovers a new craft she enjoys and churns out dozens of pieces. :-) My problem is I don't have the vision ahead of time to create pieces like yours.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to purchase this...I think this will work really well with some ideas I have about incorporating my photography transferred to fabric that I've been thinking about.
Oh yes, and these are gorgeous!!
No, I don't want the tutorial, I want you to put yours up for sale my dear! They are awesome and I'm a tone on tone gal too. You need an Etsy shop. Happy week!
