Where Bloggers Create 2016 will be in July!!

We are gonna do it!!!

I have been debating with myself for quite some time as to whether or not I would host another Where Bloggers Create party. The number of participants has been steadily dwindling over the last few years and I thought maybe every one was "over it"
But I have had several emails from some lovely women asking about this years party and it made me realize, it's not about the number participating, but the number of women who enjoy the party and find inspiration by having a place to look at the wonderful spaces that ordinary woman create in.

And so.... the party is on!!!! It does help so much when you guys take the button, put it on your blog and even do a quick post letting your own followers know about the party. After all the more people who participate, the more inspiration we will have. :)

We will be doing a link party again this year, since it seemed to work so well last year.

With a link party, everyone does their post first and then comes over here to link up. You do not need to contact me to let me know you are going to be participating. (although I would love to know that you will be) Just come on over on the 15th and add your blog post to the list.
If you are unsure of how to participate in a link party, click here for full instructions. (It's really easy)

So the rules are as follows... (It's a short list, I promise)

**********
1. On or around July 15th do a new blog post that shows off your creative playground. Please do not fear that it is not good enough. There is always a wide variety of creative spaces to be found during the party and yours will be loved and appreciated by all of us.

2. On July 15th, come over here and link up your post. (again if you need help, the instructions can be found here)

3. Please do not link up if you are just trying to advertise something or if you are not sharing a place where you create beauty of some kind. I will remove any blog or website that does not comply with this. :)

4. If you plan to participate PLEASE grab the code under the button for the event and put it on your blog. (It's in the top right sidebar.)  If you would do a short blog post to let your readers know you will be participating that would be wonderful. The more bloggers that know about the event, the more participants we will have and the more inspiration you will have!

If you want to visit last years attendees, click here for last years party post and links to last years party goers.
Don't forget, it doesn’t matter if your space is big or small, it’s yours and that makes it special!!!
I hope to see lots and lots of you on the July 15th!!!
PS... (If anyone wants to get a pretty new look from Valentine Design for their blog before the event....there's still time! I am offering a 15% discount for anyone who is joining the party. Shoot me an email and I'll get you on the list!)

Even though I don't have a blog, I was hoping you would continue Where Bloggers Create! I love looking at everyones creative space and usually pick up some new blogs to read after looking at all the spaces! I think it is so much fun and I appreciate all your hard work! Maybe by July, it won't be 117 here in the valley!!

I've been busy reworking and tidying my workroom in anticipation of this year's 'Where Bloggers Create'. It's become a regular deadline in my making year, giving me the reason to make sure my room works for me in the best way and for at least a short time, the room looks it's best.
Plus I love a good nose around other creative's workspaces!

I think I will be joining in again. Thank you for carrying on in hosting this. I am in my tenth year of blogging and my Where Bloggers Create post of 2014 is my all time most visited post!!!! It is a post that has given my little Art Studio and shop a lot of exposure. So thank you. See you in a few weeks.

Always enjoy the party and have a pinterest board for it. I have never participated because each time I learned about the party too late to spiff up my nest. This year I'm hoping I will get it done in time since we have so much notice! Thank you for hosting...we all know how much work you put in to make it happen.

I follow you and other bloggers hoping to gain the information and courage to start a blog. I have so many questions, I'm probably over thinking it.
Is there a way non-bloggers can join and learn or will you you post highlights?
I was hoping to be like the person who hangs out in the back of the room and takes notes.

I was wondering if it was going to happen.

I love that your party motivates me to get things looking nice enough for photos.

Thanks so much for hosting.

I'm putting this on my "to do" list. My space has changed a bit, so I'd like to show it off again!

To all who have never joined this before, please do!! And be aware that NO-ONE notices a bit of dust, nor minds a bit of disorder.
It is all about your creative space, and where you find your inspiration!!

{And no, Karen didn't pay me to say that!!!}

Woo Hoo, I had BETTER get busy! You saw that mess in my studio when you and I hung out that day. Whew, I need this push to get it done. Merci, my friend.

Great news, Karen! Thank you so much for hosting! I hope I can participate, but I'm in the mountains then and not sure whether I will have internet access. I'll make a post ready nevertheless and we'll see :) Shared the news on my blogs! Wishing you a sunny day, Wen

Karen I'm so Glad you decided to Host this Wonderful Party again... tho' my new Studio Space is not completely set up at the New Home yet I still plan to try to participate using close-ups that hopefully will inspire others who may also be in the process of setting up their Creative Spaces? I agree, it's not about the numbers so much as the Experience and the Inspiration. Blogging is still a vital Creative outlet for many of us who haven't abandoned it for other Tech sites completely. Can't wait to see everyone's wonderful Creative Sanctuaries. Still need to get together when we have time for that Girl's Day Out Luncheon, I haven't forgotten! *winks* Dawn... The Bohemian

I found you through My Journey Back and so excited. I will be linking to your party also and am looking forward to visiting new blogs and getting involved again! We've been rehabbing my grandparent's old house and I'm turning my grandmother's old sewing room into a studio space for me so it's a SERIOUS work in progress and perfect timing for your party.

I don't have a blog, but look forward to Where Bloggers Create each year to get ideas for my own space. Really appreciate all the work you (and the other bloggers) put into this; thanks so much for doing it again this year!!

Mine is just a humble back bedroom, but I have never let that deter me. I once saw a fabulous quilter's space which was her tiny dining room. She had to shift everything at meal times, and she just had a very old sewing machine.her work was exquisite! That has always inspired me.
I do like seeing all the " Fancy Studios" I see here though! I'll advertise this event on my blog so others can be inspired. I am resigned to low numbers of Followers after I lost my 300+ a few years ago when my blog disappeared.
Thanks for hosting this Karen.

Sometimes it's good for Me to hear others are struggling with viewership dwindling. It's hard for Me to realize Your popular and beautiful blog would be at all suffering from this too. Oh Yes , after 6 Years of blogging I'm so struggling with My viewership and also My blogging mojo. When the big blogging change took place a few months ago I lost aprox. 30 viewers. I'm now struggling to keep it from dwindling further and My Own interest in this hobby. I would like to join Your party again this Year.I'm sure like Years before I will enjoy it,so count Me in.Hugs and blessings Your way-Denise

Hi Karen,
I am so glad that you are continuing "Where Bloggers Create". My daughter Gaia and I so look forward to it every year. Sadly, but perhaps happily in the long run, we are moving soon and in the middle of packing. That means a whole new workspace next year if you continue the tradition ;-) In the meantime, we will be doing a shout-out on our blog and social media, and can't wait to see what this year's participants have in store for us.
Thank You as always for hosting my very favorite link Party of the year.
All the best,
Gwen

This is pretty much a last minute decision for me Karen after people wanting to see my new creative space since moving only a few weeks ago but at least I can show how my downsized room works and hopefully inspire and be inspired by being in the party once again.
Thanks so much for hosting this event for us as always. We appreciate your time and willingness to continue.
Hugs,
Suzy
