Wecome to my cottage!!!

Hi there and welcome to my desert cottage!! I started this blog to share my successes and my failures at trying to maintain an English style cottage in the desert. I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you. I'm sure this blog will evolve and grow as I do. Let's have some fun!!

I would be a horrible guest in your house. Upon stepping across your threshold I would immediately stare from wall to delicoius wall and not hear a single word uttered in my direction. Your rooms are GORGEOUS!! Just W.O.W. They look like they should be in a magazine. Well done. I loved looking at your house and garden :) Can't wait to see what else you post :)

I would have believed it was in a historical cottage in England. Your home has such a warm and inviting feeling, I'll take two lumps with my tea please!! and I never would have guessed the desert with all your beautiful plants. Thank you for opening your home to all of us to enjoy!

Your home is beautiful and charming! And I particularly love the wall of dog portraits!!! Are they all family dogs?

Karen- Thanks for stopping by my lil ol blog! So glad you did so I could meet you!! Love your look- this wall grouping in your livingroom is great and that chair looks so comfy!

We were in Scottsdale in Jan- We had an Ethic Summit Conference there. Bill's folks live in Surprise so we get over that way at least once or twice a year. Try not to go in the summer though!!!

Hi Karen,
I decided to come by and catch up on your past posts. Your home is darling, love all the architectural elements and the wall with all the four-legged friends is adorable! I may have to "borrow" your idea it really speaks to my animal lover heart. Have a great evening.
