As I was laying in bed last night thinking about this Giveaway and all of the great people out there that follow my blog, the emotions that I felt ran across the board. Feelings of joy, gratitude and awe.... Feelings of fear and worry. I felt them all and they all make me a better blogger, a better artist, and a better person. I can't express properly in words how wonderful this last year has been. (Truth be told, it hasn't even been a year since I started this blog) I have made some wonderful new friends and am in the process of making many more. Some of you leave comments and some of you don't, and that's okay because I know you are there anyway. I am grateful to you all for your friendship and encouragement. And so... to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart I am offering this humble giveaway to everyone who follows my blog.
The box I made myself, and it will be filled with bits of lace and doilies, an old book with perfectly worn pages, several wonderful sepia toned rose print cards, Sandra Evertson's fabulous book "Fanciful Paper Projects", a set of three French themed refrigerator magnets made by me, a pair of wonderful vintage leather gloves, 3 scented paper roses, and many more goodies!!!

I consider any one who has my blog in their sidebar a follower as well, because that is how I follow most of my favorite blogs. OMG ~ I love blogging for so many reasons. I made the most wonderful friends. I feel inspired everyday because of the most creative women. It seems that bloggers just embrace you. I have even found a wonderful bible study. From blogging you learn that there are so many other people just like you out there. Up until blogging you don't realize just how large the world is and that even though it's so large we are connected by so many things. Just because I can't find another craft on my street or in my family, it doesn't mean that I can't be a part of a group of people who love what I do. And I may have never met these people face to face but the friendship is more real than the common courtesy greeting to some of our neighbors or co-workers.
I guess you can tell I love blog land!

I love visiting you and seeing what new beauties you have created and you like so many of my favorite blogs not only nurish my heart, but you inspire me with your brautiful creations...you ask why I love to blog...it is this reason above and the fact that even when I feel I have nothing to add of beauty for my own blog...I can visit all of you and replenish my creative...wanna be heart...When my heart is hurting from lifes losses, I know visiting you all makes my heart stronger as do the comments that the wonderful friends I have made here leave on my own blog...it is like a huge group of friends that helps to pick you up with love and support, who share not only their beautiful creations and how to's but also their beautiful hearts...where else can you come in your pj's with your hair sticking out every which way and if your like me, still have remnants of yesterdays make up and yet...you and my other sweet friends never complain as I visit and laugh, cry or just think while I visit your wonderful blogs, I can come back as many times as I like and go back through your older posts and no one minds when I ask my silly questions about all your how to's and I am so thankful for that...I thank you and all my other wonderful friends in Blogland for this everytime I visit and leave you smiling. What a beautiful blog. I stumbled upon your blog because of the giveaway button at somebody else's blog. Well everybody loves give aways and your is beautiful, but what I like most of all is, how I find new blogs that I would have missed otherwise and get awesome inspiration just at the moment when I am totally without my muses and those moments always brighten up my days. When I am blogging and following other blogs I feel connected with people like me. It's kinda Dr Jekyl Mister Hide thing. In the morning I go to work to my ugly factory, but after work, I sit at my computer and connect to all these wonderful craft blogs trough my Google reader and enter in my favourite world and am totally happy :)

i blog because i love the connections involved. i treasure the friendships, business relationships and exposure, and camaraderie that come with blogging. i've also found that i am a crafty girl who enjoys "grandma" pasttimes like sewing, knitting, crocheting, card-making and baking. before i became a blogger, i honestly didn't know that that was okay. we were all taught to be so independent, such strong women with careers and lofty goals, but no one ever told us there's satisfaction in completing a handmade project. i love that blogging gave me the okay to be.. domestic. :)

I love your blog and have just signed up to be a follower (I think). I've never done it before so I hope it worked. After seeing OWOH I have decided to give blogging a try. I have set up my blog but am having trouble getting started posting. Scared I guess.

I started blogging last July so that I could join your Where Bloggers Create party. I had been lurking around blogs for a long time before then and when I saw your party I knew I wanted to start a blog so I could show off my space.
